Cook Islands Travel Photos

The Cook Islands is a renowned vacation destination southwest of Tahiti. Travelers generally arrive on the main island, Rarotonga, where most of the hotels and resorts are found, and many carry on to the beaches of Aitutaki to the north.

The islands of Atiu, Mauke, Mitiaro, and Mangaia are far less visited, though all are accessible by plane and ship - a little known paradise, yours to explore.

One Foot Island, Aitutaki The uninhabited motus along the southeast side of Aitutaki Atoll are often visited by daytripping tourists. The groups usually eat lunch on One Foot Island, named for its distinctive shape. The snorkeling is outstanding on the nearby reefs.
